Progress:
No major updates over the past week as we worked principally on analyzing the feedback from the Alpha presentation on November 1st. Here are the updates from the past week.
November 2nd-5th:
- CS:
- Divide up work for researching how to make improvements from feedback
- Assess what animations are needed for the game
- Art:
- Provide more complete assets for integration into the game
- Divide up work for animations
- Music:
- Produced new version of the main theme with more complexity
- Reviewed the music and provided feedback for improvement
November 6th: Team meeting
- Created a new project timeline from now until the Beta so that our entire team is up to date with our current tasks and priorities
- CS: Divided the work amongst ourselves
- Received feedback on the audio and SFX in our game
November 7th:
- Added visual feedback and delay to Yank so that it players are more aware before they yank
Next Steps:
CS:
- Completely finish first level (sans platform assets)
- Controller Feedback shown right off the bat and also side by side with settings menu
- Fix camera angle
- Add yank out of range UI indication
- Integrate new assets
Art:
- Get rigging completed
Audio:
- Sound effects for clearing a level or falling off the map
- Yank sound effect
